Welcome to the M&T Bank Center (“Event Center”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our facilities, including attending events such as hockey games, concerts, comedy shows, and any other activities hosted at the Event Center.
By purchasing a ticket, entering, or attending an event at our facility, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Ticketing and Entry
1.1. Valid Tickets
• Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket issued by an authorized vendor.
• M&T Bank Center has NO association with StubHub, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, or any third-party resellers. We accept no responsibility or liability for tickets purchased through these or any other unauthorized outlets, and such tickets may be invalid for admission. The only way to guarantee authentic and valid tickets is by purchasing directly through the M&T Bank Center’s official ticketing platform, Vivenu.
• Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.
1.2. Lost or Stolen Tickets
• We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
• Unauthorized duplication or resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.
1.3. Re-entry
• No re-entry is permitted.

2. Prohibited Conduct
2.1. General Behavior
You agree to:
• Treat all guests, staff, and performers with respect.
• Refrain from using abusive, threatening, or offensive language or behavior.
2.2. Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed:
• Weapons of any kind (including firearms, knives, etc.)
• Illegal substances or paraphernalia
• Outside food or beverages
• Laser pointers, air horns, or other noise-making devices
• Professional cameras or recording equipment without prior approval
Management reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items and deny entry or remove guests for violations.

3. Alcohol and Smoking
• Alcohol may be served to guests 21 and over with valid identification.
• Intoxicated patrons may be denied entry or removed without refund.
• Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping, is not permitted.

4. Safety and Liability
4.1. Assumption of Risk
• Attending live events (including sports and concerts) involves certain risks.
• You assume all risks associated with attending events at the Event Center, including injury, illness, or property damage.
4.2. Limitation of Liability
• The Event Center is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from attendance, except where required by law.
• In the event of a cancellation, our liability is limited to the refund of the face value of the ticket.

5. Audio/Visual Recording
• By entering the premises, you consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional or security purposes.
• Unauthorized recording or streaming of events is prohibited.

7. Changes and Cancellation
• The Event Center reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, seating arrangements, or amenities without notice.

8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Schenectady, New York.
